Kimberly Lolk is an artist and surface designer based in Portland, OR, creating original artwork for home decor and furnishings.

After working in-house as a designer at brands like Anthropologie, Kimberly began her independent practice in 2019, specializing in surface artwork for products across the home. Today, her work is created to move seamlessly across categories—from wallpaper and pillows to rugs, candles, kitchen linens, and more.

Her work draws on a love of botanical illustration, antique European wallpapers, Indian and East Asian woodblock prints, and vintage packaging. She is particularly interested in the tension between the old and the new: taking the character, detail, and sense of history found in traditional decorative arts and reinterpreting them through unexpected color, scale, and a distinctly modern point of view.

When she's not in the studio, Kimberly can be found tending the garden on her little farm, hiking with her husband, or heading out in their Airstream.
